After several successful rounds, a Louisville chef's run on a Food Network competition show has come to an end.
Chris Williams, owner and pitmaster of Four Pegs Smokehouse in Germantown, has been eliminated from "BBQ Brawl."
In the show, pitmasters go head-to-head in barbeque challenges and, ultimately, one is named “Master of ‘Cue.”
The show splits the pitmasters into teams, with captains Bobby Flay, Anne Burrell and Sunny Anderson.

In the first episode, “Welcome to California!” Chris came in representing his hometown of Louisville.
“My barbeque style is Texas-based with a whole lot of Louisville love,” Williams said in his introduction. “I may be self-taught, but I’ve earned my stripes in the pit.”
Williams ended up being Anderson’s second pick for her team, but on the second episode, Williams later joined Bobby Flay’s team.
Williams survived through three episodes until he was eliminated on the fourth, “Hurts So Good.”
“I really like Chris and I think he’s talented […] I was hoping he would get through one more week,” Flay said on the show.
Williams was the first member of Flay’s team to be eliminated.
